Pre-Session Consultation
Before your session, we will discuss a checklist of items, including any ideas you may have for the look you want in the portrait, location and or background, color vs. black and white, clothing to be worn, etc.
If you haven't already, it's a good idea to look around your home and think about where you would like to display your new portraits. We will show you many different wall collections displayed here at our studio to help you get a better idea of what will fit in your home. Session fees are due at the time of booking your session.
Your Portrait Session
A beautiful portrait does not just happen. There are many details that, if carefully planned for during our consultations, will make a substantial difference in the quality and appeal of your portraits. Our help with these fine points can transform an ordinary picture into a work of art you will treasure for generations to come.
You'll find your session relaxed, informal and enjoyable. We'll use lighting, backgrounds, posing and much more to make you look your best. But above all, we want you to be you.
The Portrait Viewing
We will schedule an appointment for a slideshow presentation of all your images about 2 weeks after your session. This appointment usually takes around 2 hours, so relax, have a glass of wine and some snacks, and enjoy reliving the moment! You will place your order at that viewing, so please bring anyone who will be involved in the decision-making process (like your spouse, mom, dad, sisters, or brothers).
Finally, I recommend getting a babysitter for the children for this appointment. That gives you a few hours to get out and will make the appointment much more relaxing, too.
